Julie and Marie-Claude: The New Generation Inspired by Carole and Jacques’ Passion
Since 1986, La Crêperie Gourmandise Bretonne has been an essential gathering place, where authentic Breton flavors and the warm hospitality of Carole Legault and Jacques Vaudry have created a uniquely welcoming atmosphere. After years of dedication and cherished moments with their loyal customers, Carole and Jacques have decided to take a well-deserved retirement, entrusting their beloved crêperie to capable hands.
Today, their nieces, Julie and Marie-Claude, are taking up the torch with the same love for the craft and the same devotion to every customer. Inspired by childhood memories and the example set by their predecessors, they are committed to preserving the authentic ambiance and values of excellence that have made La Crêperie Gourmandise Bretonne so renowned. Every crêpe served is a tribute to Carole and Jacques’ passion—an invitation to experience tradition once again, in a setting where quality, perfection, and customer satisfaction remain at the heart of every dish.
Julie and Marie-Claude’s mission is clear: to continue offering a unique, warm, and gourmet experience, providing customers with a delightful escape filled with flavors that can’t be found anywhere else.

Carole Legault & Jacques Vaudry - Previous Owner
In 1986, Carole Legault met Jacques Vaudry, after only nine months of dating, they bought the business. Family home converted into a restaurant. The new owners, two tireless workers, determined and, above all, very methodical.
In 1988, Carole and Jacques enlarged the interior of the restaurant to accommodate more than 90 people.
In 2006, the restaurant increased its capacity to approximately 160 people. It is now open seven days a week, noon and evening.
Needless to say, these employers are very inspiring.
